Built around expressive musicianship and introspective songwriting, the release marks another compelling chapter in Tcherassi's evolving artistry. His powerful vocal performance is complemented by intricate fingerstyle guitar work rooted in his classical flamenco background, creating a rich sonic landscape that feels both intimate and cinematic.

"Death of the Universe," an emotional and cinematic journey through heartbreak, transformation, and ultimately, rebirth. Known for combining classical guitar technique, flamenco rhythms, expressive vocals, and cinematic songwriting, Tcherassi continues to craft music that is both emotionally intimate and sonically expansive.

The way he commands a melody makes it sound as though he is pulling his expressively mellifluous classical flamenco guitar work straight from his own soul. It is impossible to come away from Death of the Universe without feeling the emotion of it; the way he lets his lyrics cascade over his guitar strings makes the experience all the rawer within the production that mimics church acoustics with an arcanely choral glow.

Blending heartfelt vocals with intricate flamenco inspired guitar work, “All or Nothing” captures the emotional journey of choosing ambition over comfort and fully committing to one’s dreams. The song reflects themes of risk, personal growth, and stepping away from limitations to pursue something greater.

You can hear the disciplined precision of classical fingerstyle weaving through the grit of rock solos, all anchored by his distinctive, evocative vocals. It’s a sophisticated blend that feels both timeless and urgently modern. With nearly two decades of mastery across classical, flamenco, and rock guitar, his debut single, ‘Mission to Departure’, is less of a hobbyist’s whim and more of a cinematic manifesto.

Unique in everything from lyric and instrumentation to structure and performance, Julian brings a clear level of artistic identity to modern music – not to mention a refreshingly unfiltered live ability. Chasing Rainbows is an original song that would no doubt stop you in your tracks if you were to witness it on stage, and furthermore, it promises an audio-experience and vocal style that’s hypnotic, interesting, evocative, and gorgeously inspired.

The classical fingerstyle melodies feel deliberate and ancient, the improvised solos feel like real-time searching, and the flamenco strumming ignites like a fire. Then the vocals arrive with a curious power, and when the outro guitar solo takes over, it’s pure ascent. It’s masterful in precision, unique because it’s fearless, and the outro feels like wings unfolding.

Julian’s work brings together the discipline of classical technique with the intensity of modern songwriting, creating a distinctive sound that feels at once timeless and forward-thinking. Brimming with emotive melodic leads, heartfelt lyricism and intricate instrumental performance, “Death of the Universe” puts Julian’s songwriting talent and musicianship panache on full display.

Known for his expressive musicianship and emotionally driven songwriting, Julian Tcherassi continues to craft a sound that merges acoustic storytelling with classical and flamenco influences.

“Chasing Rainbows” is honestly unlike anything I’ve heard in a long time. Julian plays with a level of control and aggression that’s rare, switching from delicate, intricate melodies to explosive flamenco strumming without losing clarity. It’s the kind of playing that makes you rewind a section just to figure out what he just played and enjoy it over and over again. Then the vocals hit—powerful, raw, and emotional.
